A top notch facility

Hersol is proudly South African in all areas of production and packing. Its finished product laboratory consists of experienced staff who are responsible for analysing all products, based on validated methods. All the instruments used to perform the required tests are calibrated by SANAS accredited third party companies, ensuring accuracy and precision at all times. Two senior microbiologists and a micro laboratory assistant are employed in the micro laboratory, while the QC manager and a laboratory manager oversee its efficient running. The laboratory has been accredited by the National Department of Health, which issues a certificate of compliance. Hersol’s micro lab is home to some of the few Biolumix systems used in South Africa, ensuring a quicker turnaround for lab results compared to the conventional method of five days.
