With degrees in Science and in Pharmacy from the University of the Witwatersrand, I am a pharmacist that is deeply passionate about blending scientific innovation with wellness.

As the leader of the Regulatory Affairs and New Product Development departments at Hersol Manufacturing Laboratories, I thrive on the excitement of turning new product concepts into market-ready health miracles. My daily adventure involves navigating the complex maze of regulations, overseeing the creative process of product formulation and ensuring that everything we produce not only meets but exceeds industry standards.

My career has always revolved around one place- Hersol. Beginning as a pharmacy student, then returning as a pharmacy intern, and later coming back as a regulatory affairs pharmacist (after completing my community service) I’ve grown alongside the company. Hersol has been my foundation, and now, in my role as New Product Development Pharmacist, it’s where I drive innovation forward.

As a regulatory affairs pharmacist at Hersol, I have immersed myself in the intricate world of pharmaceutical compliance and regulations. I work closely with teams across the company from formulation to packaging, to guarantee that each product not only complies with the SAHPRA regulations but also delivers on quality and safety.  This role has sharpened my eye for detail and has given me a deep understanding of the essential balance between creativity in product development and strict adherence to industry standards.

When I am not creating the next health breakthrough, you’ll find me teaching Pilates Barre- because life, like pharmacy, is all about finding the perfect balance!
